"The More You Know, The More You Know You Don't Know"- Socratic Paradox
This quote encompasses a key unlock for me this past year. I understand more and at the same time realize I know very little about the human body, optimal movement and body recomposition.
To break it down further, it comes down to the basic understanding that as you go further into your studies you realize just how much more depth there is to a certain subject. If our level of understanding the body as trainers ended at the entry level training certification, we'd be in trouble. Not every coach or trainer has the desire to understand how exactly our bodies work, and that's okay as long as they understand that their livelihood will be at greater risk by not knowing.
