"If you want to be an anomaly, you have to act like one." - Gary Vaynerchuk
I'm focused on my future. So much so that it borders on an obsession.
I stopped playing video games, cut out sports, and watch very minimal amounts of television. I keep socializing to a minimum as well.
For those who know me personally they know that I LOVE sports but I'd be lying if I said I caught any games this year outside of having the fortunate opportunity to attend them live with a friend or business associate.
In 2016 I've dramatically changed my professional life for the better. I am in a constant state of learning via reading, videos and audio content. While others may be out socializing on a Friday night or watching the big fight Saturday night, I'm still working. Holiday season lull? I'm still working, still getting better.
This is isn't to brag, it's to reiterate how much more focused I need to be. How much harder I need to continue to work. This whole month I've been thinking long and hard about what I want to accomplish in 2017. Spending time reverse engineering these goals and putting a plan on paper.
Are you focused? Or are you relaxing at a holiday party. There's nothing wrong with that but I know every minute of every day matters ALOT.
The clock's ticking down on your life, will you be ready to take the game winner?
